what is network:

Interconnection of two or more devices is called as a network. in this diagram you can understand that, there are interconnection with all the devices (computers, router, switch, printer, etc... ). by the computer networks we can share the resources like printeres, scaners, internet..etc..)

what is networking:

The networking means, communication between the two or more devices is called as networking

what is internetworking:

 The communication between the two or more different networks is called as the internetworking. and the intenetwork is interconnection of  two or more networks.

Types of networks:

there are three types of networks 

1) LAN: LOCAL AREA NETWORKS are used to connect the networking devices that are in a closed geographical location. like in a office or in a floor or in a company.

2) MAN: METROPALITAN AREA NETWORK are used to connect the networking devices that may span around  a city.

3) WAN: WIDE ARE NETWORKS which connects two or more LANs present at different geographical locations.

Things needed to form a network:

• two or more indivdual systems or networking devices.
• something to share (ex: data)
• a physical pathway or transmission medium
• rules of communication or protocols
• network interface card(nic)
• ip address
